Job for the drilling department.

The filling column of the former Friedrich Thyssen 4 shaft in Duisburg-Meiderich/Beeck is to be stabilised by subsequent grouting.

Once the client had handed over the area, we were able to start work on the site immediately, which included installing an amphibian protection fence. After all, the natterjack toad living on site should not be jeopardised by the work.

In the next step, the building site was constructed by a subcontractor. Our HBR-605 cabin is currently being used as a drilling rig.

This machine is first used to explore near-surface cavities such as shaft cellars, weather channels etc. and then filled with building material using injection lances. This work is now nearing completion.
Now that the site has been secured for the actual work, the shaft filling column can be secured using large drilling technology. For this purpose, the uppermost 150 metres will be filled with a cement suspension via injection boreholes.
