Environmental management plays a central role at THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU. As a company that operates in technically demanding areas, we have a special responsibility towards the environment. We want to make our contribution to protecting nature and people by acting sustainably, taking systematic precautions and raising awareness.

Four key topics were addressed at this year's Environment Day: Waste separation, emissions and noise pollution, the Ordinance on Installations for the Handling of Substances Hazardous to Water (AwSV) and dealing with emergency situations such as oil spills.

The Environment Day was not just about providing information, but also about raising awareness. Our employees gained a better understanding of environmental hazards and how to avoid them.

The measures and training sessions presented contribute to the continuous improvement of our environmental management system. Overall, the Environment Day was a complete success. We would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment and attention.
