What makes the THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU Group so strong?

It is the combination of regionality and expertise from our global mining projects.

Our site managers are specialists in their mines and construction sites. They know their employees, the region and they ‘speak the language’ - just like we do in the Ore Mountains! At the same time, the planning for all projects comes from a single source - namely from the technical office in Mülheim an der Ruhr and Olfen.

This means that our customers and clients always have a reliable contact person they can rely on. This creates a relationship of trust, which is essential for construction, especially in the mining industry. Thanks to centralised planning, we guarantee consistently high and uniform quality. It was an extraordinary pleasure for Paul Ehret and me to welcome the head of the Mülheim technical office to our plant in Freiberg. The background to this was the upcoming conversion of the sinking system to a ropeway system.
